1 – What was your favorite part of the video, and why?
2 – Today, we learned that “the most important truths can only be learned by reading the Bible.” How would you explain that to a friend in your own words? How does Psalm 119:18 refer to the truths in God’s Word?
3 – Here’s an example of one of those important truths. Read John 20:30, 31 together. What’s the “important truth” that John wanted his readers to understand? Have you believed in Jesus as your Savior?

We’ve learned that God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, which He inspired and has preserved.
But God didn’t stop there. He also illuminates the Bible, or helps us understand it.
In the picture on the left, this young man has just read something that he didn’t understand. So how do you think God might help him understand it?
Maybe he could look up a confusing word in the dictionary, or maybe he could ask his Sunday School teacher or parent about it.
There are many, many different ways that God can illuminate, or help us understand, what we read in the Bible.
God wrote the words of the Bible for us, and He helps us understand them – isn’t God good to us?
